Tampa Bay Antique ShoppingThere are many places that are a short drive from Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club that are great places to go for Tampa Bay antique shopping. One of the best and the most amazing is Mr. Dora. I just can't say enough about the charm of this charming southern lakefront community. It is nestled amoung the gentle hills and orange groves of Central Florida.
There are over 20 antique shops in Mt. Dora. One of the largest is Renninger's Florida Twin Markets which is located just outside the downtown area. It is absolutely wonderful with over 180 shop sites in the air-conditioned 40,000 sq. ft. main building. There are special Fairs the third weekend of every month with more than 200 additional dealers set up outdoors in open air pavilions. There are special extravaganzas the third weekends in January, February and November. On these weekends there will be some 1000 additional dealers who set up outdoors. Another place to go antique shopping is Dade City. It is located only 15 minutes from Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club. It is a small town with a great town square. Most of the shops have been changed to antique stores. There are quaint little restaurants and shops all over this great little town.
