Shopping near Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club



There are many different places to shop that are within a fifteen minute drive of Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club.

In the tiny town of San Antonio there is a small grocery store where you will find most everything you could need. They also have some cute antique shops and most important of all is the post office.

Dade City which is about 10 minutes to the east has all kinds of antiques stores and of course all of the grocery stores.

At this time the closest shopping mall would be University Mall which is located at highway 275 and Fowler. It has Dillards, Macys and Sears for some of the anchors. To find out more about University Mall chick here and you will see their website.

If you don't mind a 30 minute drive to have a wonderful day of shopping then you should travel to the International Plaza. International Plaza, adjacent to Tampa International Airport, is the most distinctive shopping and dining destination of Florida's West Coast. Four fashionable department stores, over 200 specialty shops and Bay Street at the Plaza... an open-air village of fine restaurants and small boutiques. You will want to plan to stay the day and have a meal there. The restaurants are fabulous. To learn more about

For grocery shopping when you have a very large list, the best place to go is to Wesley Chapel. Wesley Chapel located at the intersection of Highway 75 and Highway 54 is about 10 minutes to the south. There you will find all kinds of grocery stores, drug stores, and great restaurants as well.

Several new malls are planned for our area. The Cypress Creek Town Center should open by October 2007. It is an open air mall that is 1.3 million square feet in area.The $200,000,000 mall could have more than 100 tenants anchored by two major department stores and a multiscreen cinema.

Another huge mall is under construction at this time at the intersection of Highway 54 and Highway 75. It includes Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond and Pets Mart. It will also have a large movie theater in Phase 2.

All of this development can only lead to the future appreciation of our neighborhood.
