Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club Championship Golf Course

Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club is an active adult community that features an eighteen hole championship golf course, and a nine hole championship golf course. The gently rolling fairways are open and forgiving on both courses. The greens are large and challenging. Water comes into play on several holes.

The course features 5,982 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 69. The course rating is 69.3 and it has a slope of 126. The golf course opened in 1999. Rich Unger manages the course as the General Manager.

Prices for golf vary throughout the year and also by the day and the time of day. The course is public but never seems to be overcrowded. From what I hear, the price is very reasonable. I often hear that it is much less to play golf here than in Naples or Sarasota.

The morning is the busiest of course and often the golfers meet in the screened porch for lunch. The restaurant in the club house is a great meeting place as well after a morning of golf or other activities.

The greatest thing about Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club is that people are friendly. I always get a wave as I drive into the community. Golf carts are driving all about the area and everyone seems to have a wave and a smile.

This is the best of Pasco County's new championship golf courses. It has a challenging layout carved between beautiful lakes and conservation areas. With four sets of tees, the course is appealing to all golfers. Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club also features one of the areas finest nine hole executive courses.
